Lithium Battery Protection Module

The Panther Lithium-Battery Protection Module is for use in Li-ion and Li-polymer single-cell applications. The miniature module improves the operating life of one-cell rechargeable battery packs. It provides complete lithium-battery protection with no external components. The Panther module is sized to connect to most Li-polymer cells without extra connecting boards or flex. The module includes the advanced design features of the EM6180 Li-battery protection chip, which guarantees low impedance. It is especially advantageous for high-power applications including GSM and CDMA. The Panther module is available in two standard tab configurations.
